Frank C. Newton, age 70 passed away June 8, 1964 in St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Newton was born January 2, 1894 in Amberg, Wisconsin and had lived in Sturtevant for 35 years, coming from Amberg.
During World War I, he served in the 32nd Division. He had been employed at American Motors Corp. until retiring in 1954. He was a member of St. Sebastian's Church; Holy Name Society; Apostolate of Suffering; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1391; UAW-CIO Local 72 and 32nd Division of Veterans Association.

Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Laurel (verne) Gehrig of Sturtevant; Mrs. Faythe (Philip) Klinkhammer of Hancock, Mich.; Mrs. Valerie (Thomas) Keyes of Acton, Mass. and Mrs. Mary (Donald) Henes of Racine; two sons: Francis J. of Milwaukee and Gregory of Racine; one sister: Mrs. Myrtle Sensiba of Iron River, Mich. and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ida (nee Belanger), whom he married Aug. 30, 1921 in Marinette Wisconsin and passed in January, 1962.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:45 am in the Maresh Funeral Home and 10:30 am in St. Sebastian's Church of Sturtevant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
