Lois M. Johnson, 58, of Clinton, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church of Clinton. She was the daughter of Samuel "Ben" and Janie Hale Humphrey, who are deceased.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Harlan H. Johnson; her son, Timothy H. Johnson of Clinton; her daughter, Tracy Dyer and her husband, David, of Clinton; her grandson, Bill Thompson; and by her step-grandchildren, Stephanie Jackson, Cody Jackson, Katrina Dyer, and Aaron, Brandon and Brittany. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Humphrey of LaFollette; three sisters, Mary Graham, Bessie Humphrey and Ruby Lindsay, all of Heiskell; and by several other relatives.
Three brothers, Vance Humphrey, John Humphrey and Jim Humphrey, and her mother-in-law, Iva Johnson, died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Mack Smith and the Rev. Joe Bridges officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, at Black Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
