Birth: Feb. 9, 1853
Kentucky, USA
Death: Sep. 14, 1919
Corpus Christi
Nueces County
Texas, USA

Son of James Augustus "August" Montgomery and Ann Mary Latamore. Husband of Sarah Jane Hicks.

Family tradition says his name is Theodore Jonas but it is more likely his name was Theodore James after his father.

Mary and Theodore had the following children:
Alonzo "Lonzo" "Lonnie" Montgomery 1879
Ida May Montgomery 18811966
Pearl Montgomery 18861987
Harry Lee Montgomery 18921957
Oda Theodore Montgomery 18931927
Rosetta " Rose" Clifford Montgomery 18981996

Family tradition also says he died in the "Storm of 1919" hurricane of Corpus Christi, Texas and was buried with the storm victims in a mass grave.

According to an account of the storm in Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine from October 2004, "all the bodies were removed from the mass graves and interred at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Corpus Christi or other graveyards." [https://www.tpwmagazine.com/archive/2004/oct/legend/]

If Theodore's body was found, he might be buried at Rose Hill Cemetery.
