Arthur J. Wolfe

Arthur James Wolfe, 60, of 118 DelRay Drive, died Thursday, August 14, 2003 at his home. A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of the late William Noah and Elizabeth Layton Wolfe and the husband of the late Flora Mae Judy Humphries Wolfe. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator, and was a member of Moore Baptist Church. He was the band leader for the Southern Sounds Band. Survivors include a daughter and a son of Spartanburg; a brother of Barnwell, a grandson and four granddaughters, all of Spartanburg.
Visitation will be 7-9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday,August 17, 2003 at Floyds Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Alvin Burdette. The family is at the home.
