Husband of Marilyn S., nee Mulconnery, Amburn. Father of Gary Amburn, Kathy LeFave and Kay Amburn; stepfather of William Aye; Gary Aye and Cindy Aye Broyles. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by his parents, James Amburn and Mary A., nee Harmon, Farmer; three brothers, Cleland Amburn, Leland Amburn and Elo Amburn; and three sisters, Wilma Steinbergen, Ruby McMannamy and Doris Thompson.

Mr. Amburn worked for Emerson Electric Company as well as a lineman for Union Electric. Member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 309. He was also the retired owner of Go-Kart/Speed Bowl in Belleville, which he operated for 32 years.
