ANDREWS, 64, of Ocala, Fla. died on Wed., Nov. 5, 2003 at Monroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla. A native of Battle Creek, Mich., he was born on Aug. 6, 1939 to the late Winifred Isabel Claire (Huonker) and Michael Frederick Andrews. He was a retired maintenance worker and was formerly employed by Jumbolair Farms and MedX. As a young man, he was a drummer in Battle Creek area bands and later moved to Tenn. and played as a backup drummer on the Porter Wagoner Show. He also played with Del Shannon, Frankie Sells, Bobby Edwards, Dolly Parton and other artists. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winifred Andrews, in 1995 and by his brother, Larry Andrews in 1992. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, one daughter (of Portland) one son, one stepdaughter, one stepson, father, one sister, one brother, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Mon., Nov. 10, 2003 at Ocala Word of Faith in Ocala, Fla.
