REBECCA PARKER was married to WILLIAM JOSEPH CHAFFIN,Sr. Rebecca and William married August 5,1848 in Houston County, Texas. They were the parents of eleven Children. Rebecca Parker Chaffin was four years old when her father Benjamin F.W.Parker was killed, May 19,1836 in the Indian Massacre at Fort Parker, Limestone County, Texas, leaving her orphaned. She lived with Benjamin Parker's sister, Susannah Parker Starr, until January of 1848. Her brother, Joseph, brought her from Illinois to Anderson County, Texas. Family links: Parents: Benjamin F.W.
