Bicycle Policeman Allen, of the Tenth precinct, arrested the past week a well-known judge of one of the courts on the charge of violating the speed regulations on Connecticut avenue. Allen said the judge was hitting up the record with his automobile, as if there were no speed regulations.
Bicycle Policeman Boyle, of the same precinct, picked up the automobile of one of the multimillionaires for a similar offense.
The bicycle men, commonly known as the antispeed traffic squad, are a terror to the chauffeurs who forget how fast they are running their machines.

D.C. OFFICER DEAD OF HEART ATTACK.
Luther E. Allen, 44, policeman stationed at the Tenth precinct, died yesterday of heart disease on a visit to the apple blossom festival at Winchester, Va.
Policeman Allen, who lived at 634 South Carolina avenue southeast, was found dead by Pvt. Carl D. Schamp, of the public relations squad, who had accompanied him to the festival.
Allen was appointed to the police force in August, 1908. For several years he was station clerk at the Tenth precinct, and recently had been assigned to a patrol car. He is survived by his wife.
