Roger E. Cole
Roger Earl Cole, who lived in Clark County the past 65 years, died Nov. 16, 2003, in a local care center. He was 91.
Mr. Cole owned meat markets in Clark and Cowlitz counties, owned Dolphin Marina in Camas and was the West Coast sales representative for Carver Boats until he retired in 1978.
He was born Sept. 20, 1912, in Pratt, Kan.
Survivors include his wife, E. Lucile, at home; one daughter, Kay Taft of Bellevue, Wash.; three sons, Louis, Ken and Jerry, all of Vancouver; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Cole was a charter member of Camas Lions Club, a life member of Vancouver Elks Lodge and a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas. He and his wife spent many winters in California and Arizona.
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Presbyterian Church.
