Audrey Elizabeth "Billie" Shorb was born on 24 April 1929 in Foxville, Maryland, to Keller Hiram and Margaret Edna Toms Moser. She was a quiet lady who liked to laugh and worked hard to rear two children alone. Her sense of humor and personality made her well-liked among her family and friends. Her final years were spent in Emmett, Idaho, where she passed away on 22 February 2008.
Audrey is survived by daughters Audrey Lorraine Hall of Emmett and Wanda Lee Knott of Thurmont, Maryland. Also surviving are grandchildren Angie, Fay, Gerald, Steven and Audrey and great-grandchildren Joseph, Roy, Megan and Jesse. Preceding her in death are her parents; her brother, John Kenneth Moser; sister Helen Moser; step-father Lewis "Pidge" Simmons and the father of her children, Martin Franklin "Buzz" Shorb.
Potter's Funeral Chapel in Emmett has charge of the arrangements. Audrey will return to Maryland where final funeral arrangements are pending.
She leaves with our love and respect. Her daughters are grateful that a Mother's love never dies. May God hold her safely in the palm of his hand and give her peace.
