Rebecca Ann "Becky" (Price-Dune) Mitchell, 61, of Delaware, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at her home after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 8, 1947 in Marion to the late Richard and Margaret Dune.

A graduate of Marion Harding High School in 1965. She served the public in a variety of Sohio Stations beside her ex-husband, Gary Price until she began working for the City of Marion as a Meter Maid.

Upon moving to Delaware, she was employeed as a machine operator for the Nippert Co, worked for Burns Security and then was employed doing what she loved most, working at the Westerville Veterinarians Clinic with animals.

Becky will be remembered most as a loving mother, G-ma, sister and daughter; a true friend to many and an adopted mom and G-ma to many.

Survivors include, her companion of 17 years, Barney McCombs; his parents, Bernard (Jenny) McCombs; her children, Joy Petty (Price) of Prospect, Angie Price of Oblong, IL, Jerry Price of Manassas, VA and Billy Price of Delaware; her grandchildren, Shoshannah, Savannah and Shannel Petty, Shaun and Kyndra Landrum, Josh Baer and Alexis Best, and Rebecca and Kaylee Price; one sister, Marsha (Steve) Adams of Marion; five brothers, Dick (Pam) Dune of Warren, OH, Rich (Lisa) Dune, Carol Neidhart, Dave (Pam) Neidhart and John (Jill) Neidhart all of Marion; loving stepmother, Ellen Dune of Marion; her dogs, Jamie, Claudia, Lucy and Sammy; and cat, B.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sue Herr; and her longtime friend, Baby the dog.
