Isaac E. Boardman (1844-c1905) was a machinist and toolmaker. (b. July 1844; Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, USA - d. about 1905; Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, USA)

Isaac was the son of an unknown Boardman (c1805-before1860) and Mary X (1809-after1880). Both his parents were from England.

Betsy Boardman (1841-?); William J. Boardman (1844-1920); and Emma Boardman (1850-?).

Paterson, New Jersey:
In 1860 the family was living in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey and his father was already dead.

First marriage:
He married Catharine Morse (c1845-before1880) around 1870.

Together they had the following children: Ulysses G. Boardman (1873-?); George Boardman (1875-?); Sarah Boardman (1877-after1930) who married George Stephen Overton (1870-before1930).

Second marriage:
After Catherine died he married Anna Class (1845-?) on October 30, 1880 in Paterson, New Jersey. They had a daughter: Edna Boardman (1881-?).

Newark, New Jersey:
He appears in the 1880 US Census living at 12 Houston Street, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey; and in the 1900 US Census living at 95 Ridgewood Avenue, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey; and the 1890-1891 City Directory living at 107 Ridgewood Avenue, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey and working as a toolmaker.
