Master Sergeant Grant Alonzo Black (1913-1976) was a United States Air Force airman. (b. July 4, 1914; Utah, USA - d. December 1, 1976; Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina, USA) US Airforce Number AF-6731404 and Social Security Number 370144520.

Parents:
William Alonzo Black (1886-1953) and Jeannette Bessie Bywater (1889-1969) who were married on December 25, 1911 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.

Birth:
He was born on July 4, 1914 in Utah.

Education:
He graduated from high school around 1931.

First marriage:
He was divorced from his first wife by 1945, they did not have any children.

World War II:
He enlisted on 30 November 30, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. He became a master sergeant in the United States Air Force.

Second marriage:
He married Gretchen Hahnen (1902-1986) on August 28, 1950 in Arkansas and they lived in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. Gretchen was the daughter of Zora Montgomery and Herman F. Hahnen. They did not have any children.

North Carolina:
They moved to Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Death:
He died on December 1, 1976 in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina.
