PITTSFIELD - Marsha J. Frederick, 48, died Dec. 26, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 20, 1959, in Houlton, daughter of Forest and Rosie (Giovannucci) Frederick. She was a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield, Class of 1977. She worked for most of her life in retail sales. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Hope. She is survived by two daughters, Kellie Brooks and her husband, Wesley, of Burnham, and Marisa Frederick of Old Town; two grandchildren, Alexia Brooks and PJ Folster; special friend, Sharon Norris of Pittsfield; nieces, nephews, friends and family. She was predeceased by lifetime companion, Arthur Studer Jr.; her parents; and brother, Dennis Frederick. Visiting hours will be held 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, where funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Spring burial will be at Detroit Village Cemetery.
