Preferring to be known by her middle name, JANE moved with her family to the U.S. (Yale, Sanilac Co., Michigan) from Canada in 1873, when she was 12. On July 5, 1883, JANE married ISAAC WITHROW and became the mother of JOHN D. WITHROW, ARDELIA WITHROW, GEORGE WITHROW, LULA WITHROW, ROY WITHROW and HELEN BLANCHE WITHROW. HELEN BLANCHE WITHROW died in 1885 at the age of eight months, nine days due to "bowel inflammation." Jane's death certificate lists the cause as "cerebral hemmorage, vascular renal disease and arteriosclosis."
Of note: At the 1889 wedding of JANE's youngest sister, MARGARET, JANE, as a witness, recorded her name as JENNIE -- which was her nickname.
JANE and her husband lived at 1880 Brockway in St. Clair, MI, were devout Christians and members of the Free Methodist Church in Belding, MI. She was 68 at the time of her passing. In contrast, ISAAC WITHROW lived to be 101.
