Joel graduated from Windham, OH High School, class of 1953. At the age of 35 he was the first of his class to die. He was married to Akyio Naga and they had 3 children, Tammy, Benjamin Joel and Lawrence.
He attended Hiram College and then moved to Oxnard, Calif. doing work for the Navy. He was on a fishing trip in San Francisco and on the way home ran into fog and drove off the mountain.
Joel was sweet, soft spoken and very intellegent. He is missed. Rest in peace classmate.
