Wayne was a friend I met in MSN chats when I first got online. We chatted online and over the telephone many times. He told me that he was a Navy Seal during the Viet Nam war, and was captured and tortured. He went by the name FUBAR in the chat rooms. I know that he has a brother and was married at one time. I know he was born in Illinois and graduated from high school there. He had a great sense of humor and would write down jokes he read and liked and kept a notebook of them. One time while talking to Wayne in chats he had a heart attack. With help of other chat room friends we were able to get an ambulance there to check on him. Everything he ever told me evidently was true, as the paramedics told another friend online who lived not far from him, that he was in bad shape and wasn't expected to live more than a few hours at the most. Wayne proved them wrong and lived over a year longer. Wayne would rarely get online after that, and we lost touch, and by chance I checked SSDI and found he had died.
Wayne would never send me his picture, but maybe someone out there will see this and add one to his memorial.
This isn't much Wayne, but I want you to know I think about you often, and now I know you are in Heaven, free of pain at last. You are with my brother now who died a few months before you. Rest in Peace Always Wayne.
I don't know where Wayne is buried. So if anyone out there knows, please e-mail me.

I never knew you. But from what I have been told by a friend that still loves you very much, you and I would have been good friends.

Rest for a while. Soon there will be a joyful reunion as the former things pass away...
