MORRISVILLE - Theodore "Ted" Edward Lambert Sr., 91, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the WhiteFiess Funeral Home, 165 Brooklyn St., Morrisville.

MORRISVILLE - Theodore "Ted" Edward Lambert Sr., 91, died peacefully with family by his side, Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at his home.
He was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Highgate, the son of George Philip and Minnie Hakey Lambert.
He married Rose Groppo on Oct. 11, 1941, in Chapel Topeka Air Base, Topeka, Kan.
Ted served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during W.W.II completing 26 successful missions with the "Lucky Bastards" and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
Ted moved to Morrisville in 1957 to take a position as manager of the B.F. Goodrich store. He went on to establish a number of successful businesses in Morrisville beginning with Lambert Tire Company, then established Lambert Real Estate, Lambert Furniture and later, Lambert Rehab, Inc. He worked as a broker for various realtors over the years as well. He held patents for handicapped-accessible equipment he designed. He was a 3rd degree knight in Knights of Columbus, Fr. Boivin Council; a lifetime member of the VFW and Past President of the Morrisville Rotary Club.
He is survived by his children, Ted Lambert Jr. and wife, Kim, of Hyde Park, Stephen Lambert of Elizabethtown, Ky., Joy Jensvold and husband, Andy, of Morrisville, Patrick Lambert of Virginia Beach, Va., and Deborah Lambert and husband, Andrew Harper, of Monkton, Md.; daughters-in-law, Nicky Gardner of Morrisville, and Darlene Bailey- Lambert of Essex Junction; grandchildren, Donald Lambert Jr. and Melissa, Lori Sandshaw, Maria Berry and Clifford, Heather Decker and Gordon, Jeremy Lambert and Liza, Ava Lambert, Kristen Lambert and Peter, Michelin Cote and Matt, Justin Jensvold and Paula, Darcie Abbene and Seth, Cassandra Lambert, Denyse Lambert, and Aphaia Lambert-Harper; and 17 great-grand- children, with another expected to be born in November.
Ted was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Rose; sons, Donald Lambert Sr. and Michael Lambert; daughters-in-law, Barbara Lambert and Portia Lambert; brothers, Roy, Patrick, Ralph and Robert Lambert, and two infant brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church. Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the WhiteFiess Funeral Home, 165 Brooklyn St., Morrisville. Interment, with military honors, will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
