Jacqueline Lee Perry (Inupiaq name Aghmoya), 39, known to her family and friends as Jackie, passed away on May 18, 2012 in Anchorage, Alaska.

Jackie was born June 17, 1972 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Jack Appolloni and Eileen Norbert. Soon after, the family moved back to Alaska where Jackie grew up and called Anchorage home. For numerous years, Jackie worked in telecommunications as the financial analyst.

Jackie raised her two wonderful children, Ashley and Zachery, with love and kindness. With Ashley, Jackie encouraged her love of snowboarding and other sports. She was a dedicated and proud hockey mom for Zachery. Jackie always told her children how much she loved and cared for them.

Jackie enjoyed the outdoors. She often fished on float trips with her family on the Kenai, Gulkana and Willow Rivers. She also enjoyed hiking and biking on the numerous trails in south central Alaska.

Jackie loved family gatherings and especially barbecues. Her laugh and wonderful attitude was infectious. Jackie was witty and always loved to banter with family and friends. She was the "Ray of Sunshine" at any gathering.

Jackie will always be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and loyal friend. Our beloved Jackie will be greatly missed and may she find the peace she deserves.

Jackie is survived by her daughter and son, Ashley and Zachery Perry; her father Jack Appolloni and his wife Kathy; her mother Eileen Norbert; her brothers Victor Appolloni and Peter Jorgensen; her sister and brother-in-law Angela and John Lowe; her sister Gina Appolloni; her partner Charles Hudson; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

If you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations go to the local Salvation Army.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday May 24, 2012 @ St. Patricks Catholic Church, 2111 Muldoon Road in Anchorage. Officiating will be Fr. Scott Medlock. A reception will immediately follow the services in the parish hall.
