Anita was a beautiful example of God's love to everyone. She was a loving and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A faithful prayer warrior and Bible teacher, Anita loved mentoring other women and encouraging them in their faith. In addition to having a lovely soprano voice, Anita played the piano and organ at First Baptist Church, Freeport, for many years. She enjoyed many kinds of needlework, arts and crafts projects, and folk painting.
