1955-2013
Steven Michael Cobbett, age 57, of Milton, FL, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born April 4, 1955 in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts to the late Stanley W. Cobbett and Marjorie Louise Clogston Cobbett.
Steve was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a painting contractor. He loved his family and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also played baseball and attended Camp Berwick in Maine. Steve loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Deborah "Debbie" Cobbett; three brothers, Ronald of Kingston, MA, Richard of Goffstown, NH, and James of Denver, CO; two sisters, Elizabeth of Taunton, MA and Marilyn of East Bridgewater, MA; and last, but not least, his two canine companions, Sweet Pea and Lucille.
A Celebration of Life Visitation and Time of Sharing will be Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 4 until 6 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society. Military honors will be rendered at the beginning of the service at 4 PM followed by a time of sharing and visiting with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnatti, Ohio 45250.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
