Thomas Trent Winn, of Zeeland, Michigan, died Sunday, January 20, 2013, near Mesick. He was 44. He was born November 12, 1968, in Richmond, Virginia, to William H. and Mary Helen "Lolly" (Hendrickson) Winn III.
Trent had been employed at Saturn of Holland and was currently working at Premier Truck Repair in Zeeland. He was also the owner of Winn's Autohaul in Zeeland. Trent lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his children, snowmobiling, boating, being with friends and in his younger years, motorcycles, snow skiing and water skiing.
On July 31, 1999, in Cadillac he married the former Brenda M. Clous, who survives him, along with their daughters, Kylee and Abby Winn; his parents, William H. Winn III of Boyne City, Mich., Lolly Winn of Cadillac; brothers: George (Connie) Winn and Billy (Melissa) Winn all of Fort Myers, Fla., nieces and nephews, Tyler, Caitlyn, Casey and Madi; grandparents: Jane T. Hendrickson of Knoxville, Tenn. and William H. (June C.) Winn, Sr. of Naples, Fla.; and parents-in-law, Richard (Ann) Clous of Cadillac. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George L. Hendrickson and his mother-in-law, Tina Clous.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac with Deacon James Siler officiating. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
