Clarence Bernard Safrit, 62, died April 21 at the V. A. Hospital in Biloxi. He was a retired Master Sargeant in the Army.
He was born in China Grove, North Carolina, and was a retired employee of the Civil Service. He was also a member of the North Biloxi VFW No. 673.
Services were held at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi with burial at Biloxi National Cemetery.
In addition to his wife, Myrtle Safrit of North Biloxi, he leaves his mother, Addie Mae Safrit of China Grove, North Carolina; a daughter, Linda Lee Sutton of Rock Hill, South Carolina; a son, Charles D. Safrit of North Biloxi; and a sister, Lucille Funderburk of China Grove. He also leaves three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi was in charge of the arrangments.
