Services for Mildred Francis Aaron, 82, Davis, were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27 at Krien Chapel in Davis with Rev. James Densman officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born July 2, 1924 in Davis to Douglas Virgil and Ollie Gertrude (Broom) Brashears, she died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006.

Mildred grew up and attended school in Davis. She and Willie "Jack" Aaron were married in Sulphur in 1942 and then moved to Shamrock, Texas, where they farmed and ranched together. They later returned to Oklahoma, making their home in Stratford. Jack preceded her in death in 1989.

About nine years ago, she returned to her home town of Davis where she remained until her death.

Surviving are a sister, Jewel Aaron, Davis; three brothers, James Brashears, Amarillo, Texas, William "Bill' Brashears, Lawton and Kenneth Brashears, Orange, Texas; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Donald Wesley Aaron on August 12, 2000; three brothers; three sisters and her parents.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
