Donald Blizzard 78, of Lafayette died Tuesday December 5, 2006 at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center. Born September 17, 1928 in Stockwell to the late William & Edith (Turner) Blizzard he has been a life long resident of the city. He was a veteran who had served in the Army. He worked for National Homes for 37 years. He volunteered at Food Finders Food Bank, and bread giveaways at the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to auctions, gardening, and woodworking. Surviving are 2 brothers William Blizzard of FL, and Dale Blizzard of Crawfordsville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to a 10 AM funeral service Saturday December 9, 2006 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Concord Cemetery.
