Ramon Moreno Arratia, 67, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015. He was born on August 1, 1947 in Brownsville, TX.
Preceded in death by his mother, Martina J. Moreno and his brother, Sergio Barraza.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony (Paulette) Arratia of Salinas and Eddie Arratia of Watsonsville; daughter, Vickie (Rodrigo) Roman of Watsonville; sisters, Leonor of Castroville, Minnie of Salinas, Luisa of Salinas, Maryann of Castroville; brothers, Abel of Bakersfield, Nabor (Yoland) of Soledad, Blas (Stella) of Pacific Grove and Fidel (Josie) of Castroville; his longtime companion, Joan; numerous loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, CA 93901.
Rosary will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Alta Vista Mortuary.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 11140 Preston Street, Castroville, CA 95012.
Burial will follow at Castroville District Cemetery, 8442 Moss Landing Road, Moss Landing, CA 95039
