Larry Creech, 72, of Smithfield, Utah, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at his home, from Alzheimer's disease. He was born Oct. 2, 1940, in Atkinson, Kan., to Orville Lynn and Ruby Wahaus Creech.

He spent his early years in Cornish and his adult life in Petuluma, Calif. He was very successful working for General Motors, Sea Land, American President Lines and Direct Group in Texas.

His interests were golfing, skiing, camping, hunting, fishing, cars and motorcycle racing. He had a love for baseball and his children.

Larry's wife of 32 years passed away 14 years ago and he moved back to Utah and married Diane Stone two years later.

Larry is survived by his five children, Kristi Brushaber, O. Larry Jr., Donna, Randy and Kathy; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Christopher Stone, Susie Fullmer and James Stone; one step-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Sonja Mosher, Joseph Creech, Lynette Hansen and Herb Creech; and 27 nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank CNS hospice and Dr. Salisbury for their wonderful service and care.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Cornish LDS church, 1200 N. 400 West. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the church prior to the services. Services will conclude with burial in the Cornish Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Serenicare Funeral Home of Providence, Utah.
