Mrs. Florence Belle Asher, 81, was found last Sat. in her home by neighbors. She was last seen the Friday preceding, late in the afternoon. Neighbors not observing smoke from chimneys investigated Saturday morning, called, no answer received and accordingly officials were notified. Upon investigations the body was found. A coroners' jury reported death by natural causes.
Born in Indiana, the major portion of Mrs. Asher's life was spent in Crittenden County and for many years in Marion. She lived alone. Mrs. Asher affiliated with the Dunn Springs Baptist Church. She was married to N.P. Burnette of this county who died many years ago; several years after the death of Mr. Burnette she was married to B. White, Rosiclare, who preceded her in death many years. She was later married to the late County Judge Asher.
Four living generations were represented at the funeral. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. T.D. Belt, Sheridan; a son, Charles Burnette, St. Louis. Daughter of John and Charlotte Belt.
