SUTHERLIN, Va. - Mr. Johnny Edward Jones, age 60, died Tuesday, August 5, at his home. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his daughter, Jillian Elizabeth Jones; a special friend Candace Lynn Slayton; brothers, Cecil Jones and wife, Tammy, and Daniel Jones; a sister Arlene Stevens; a nephew, Thomas Edward Jones and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Gail Watson Jones; Parents Johnny Kent and Susie Conner Jones and a sister Shirley Jones.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Thursday night from 7 to 8:30 pm, and at other times at the home of Elmer and Patricia Watson, 1234 Kerns Mill Rd., Sutherlin.
