Rites on Tuesday For Miss Greene.
Miss Wilmetta Greene, about 62 years old, died at the State Hospital in Morganton on Friday, where she had been a patient for perhaps 25 years.
A native of Boone, Miss Greene was a daughter of L. L. Greene, former Superior Court judge and Mrs. Greene.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Reverend Joseph T. Shackford, pastor of the Boone Methodist Church conducted the rites and burial was n the Bryan cemetery.
A sister, Mrs. Frank Manderfield on San Francisco, California is the only immediate survivor.
