Mrs. E. H. Allen, 75, died of a heart attack, Friday morning at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Mayes at Blossom.
The funeral Sunday at 3 p.m. will be held at the Methodist Church at Blossom, with burial in Blossom Cemetery by Manton-Fry Funeral.
Born at Faught, July 11, 1875, Mrs. Allen had lived all her life in Lamar County.
She leaves these children: Tom Allen, Rockwood, Tenn.; Ed Allen, Columbus, Ohio; William Allen, Waldron, Ark.; Fred Allen, Paris; John Allen, Detroit; Mrs. Herman Scudder, Keller; Mrs. Max Dale and Mrs. Mayes, Blossom; besides 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
