She was born Aug. 30, 1940, in Bryan, the daughter of Willis and Dessie (Geren) Stambaugh. In 1964, she married David Batt Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Belinda (Ed) Taylor, Jackson, Mich.; three sons, David Jr. (Jan) of Bryan, Jon of Bloomfield, Mich., and Jerry (Angie), Bowling Green; a sister, DeeAnn (Tom) Fleming, Bryan; and nine grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Dawn Rupp; and a brother, Maurice Geren, in infancy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Bill Priest officiating.
Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, rural Bryan. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
