Milton S. Alexander, 90, of Runge, Texas
He was born to C.R. Alexander and Lenora Figh Alexander on Jan. 4, 1918, in Runge.

Mr. Alexander married Ruth Baker Alexander on Dec. 8, 1945. He was a lifelong resident of Runge and a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Runge, where he was a former secretary, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Kenedy, a former board of director member of the Community State Bank in Runge and later the Victoria Bank and Trust in Runge, and a former school board member of Runge Independent School District.

Second to his love and devotion to his family, Mr. Alexander was an avid fisherman and loved the game of golf. The Alexander family has owned and operated an insurance and real estate business for the past 111 years in Runge. Mr. Alexander joined the business in 1938, which is currently the Alexander Agency.

Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife; his daughter, Patti Wright; two brothers; and two sisters.

He is survived by his son, Bobby Alexander and wife Yvonne of Kenedy; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his son-in-law, Mike Wright of McDade.
