Mr. Hope Achenbach, age 39 of 811 Estroff Drive, Vidalia died Saturday night, January 28, 2012 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Hope was a life-long resident of Vidalia and was a collision repair specialist.

Hope is preceded in death by his father, Dr. H.G. Achenbach, who died in 2008. Survivors include a daughter, Alyson Alligood of Vidalia; his mother and father, Joy and Van Page of Vidalia; a sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Todd Meeks of Lyons; two nieces, Deanna Glisson and Maggie Meeks, both of Lyons; his maternal grandmother, Edna Fountain of Vidalia.

Funeral services for Hope Achenbach will be conducted at 11 am Friday morning, February 3, 2012 from the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service chapel with Reverend Robert Green and Reverend Kevin Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will assemble at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Todd Meeks, 210 Hillsboro Road, Lyons and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening beginning at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Paul Anderson Youth Home, P.O. Box 525, Vidalia, GA 30475.
