Chester, GA- Funeral services for James Albert Allen, 76, of Chester, who died Thursday, November 10, 2016, in Fairview Hospital, will be held Sunday, November 13, 2016, at 2 p.m. in chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Young officiating. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
Albert was born in Dodge County to the late J. Herbert and Ollie Mae Beck Allen. He was retired from Victor Forsmann Textile Plant of Dublin. He was a member and deacon of Bethany Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Minter Allen, and brothers, Joe Allen, Earl Allen, and Willie Bryant.
The family will meet friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
