Robert H. Burton, Jr., 80 of Easton, died Wednesday August 13. He was born January 6, 1934 to Robert and Delma Burton. He was a lifelong resident of Easton where he farmed and raised his family.
He enlisted in the Air Force in 1951 and joined the Air National Guard in 1956. He was a graduate of McGhee Tyson NCO Academy. In 1987 he retired with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.
He married Ann Carmichael April 10, 1953. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Ellen Burton.
Robert was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5067 and former Grand Knight.
Visitation will begin after 1PM Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph, Missouri.
A Rosary will be held Friday at 7PM at our Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Saturday August 16th 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Easton, Missouri.
