Services for Barney Wilson Babb, 62, who died May 24th, were held May 27th at the Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home Chapel in Wardell with the Rev. Billy J. Baldwin officiating. Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 15th, 1914 in Paducah, Ky., the son of the late Ance and Uda Babb. He married Flora Horton Aug. 23rd, 1934.
Survivors include his wife of Marston; one son, Ray Gene Babb of Marston; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Smith of Vienia and Mrs. Shiela Waddle of Marston; six brothers, Willis, Herman, Courtney, and Carl Babb; two sisters, Bertha Hurley and Edna Brantley; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tommy Williams, Harry King, Warren Ramage, A.A Miller, Bernard Hayes and John Glidwell.
