David E. Allison, 71, of Oakland passed away at his home at 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010.
He was born Sept. 16, 1938 in Oakland, Il. to Wilson and Janice Hanner Allison. He married Martha Skinner on Aug. 7, 1957, in Newman. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, JoAnn (Doug) Robinson of Urbana; a sister, Shirley Tyler of Mattoon; a brother, Walter Allison of Catlin; three grandchildren, BJ, John and Rich and three great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Wesley Allison.
