Survived by wife, Ernestine D. Searcy ; a daughter, Lonnie S. Chinn, Port Allen; a sister-in-law, Nelda Dupuy, Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; a niece; four nephews; numerous other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by father, John Searcy Sr.; mother, Rachel G. Searcy ; a brother, John Searcy Jr.; a sister, Albertha S.Alexander; and a nephew, Henry A. Searcy .
