Larry Armstrong, 40, died Sunday, October 2, 2005, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Services are tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Visitation is today from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Eddie Robinson and Son Funeral Home has charge.

Armstrong, born July 18, 1965, to Earnest Lee Armstrong and Ora Pearl McNeal Armstrong in Sardis, was an award-winning welding student in local district, state and national competition for two years. He graduated from North Panola School in 1984. He worked for North Panola Hospital and Mapellit Brothers Meat Company of Memphis, Tenn. until their closing. He then moved to Kroger Distribution Center from Batesville to Memphis, Tenn. He was also an active member of Rose Chapel during his childhood and young adult life, where he was also a musician.

Survivors, along with his parents include, his wife, Deborah Wylodine Stokes Armstrong of Sardis; one daughter, Candace Rhonda Armstrong of Sardis; one son, Joshua Philip Willam Armstrong of Sardis; his grandmother Willie McNeal of Southaven; six sisters, Mary Bell and Sandra Brown, both of Memphis, Tenn., Lora Hardin and Tracy Roberts, both of Como, Sophia Polk of Oxford and Angela Leverson of Senatobia; nine brothers, James Armstrong of Como, George Armstrong of Oxford, Sidney Armstrong, Robert Armstrong, Louis Armstrong and Randy Armstrong, all of Como, Timothy Armstrong of Lawrence, Ga., Darryl Polk of Oxford and Todd Polk of Como, and a host of aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and friends.
