Dave Edward Charloe of Miami, OK passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his home. He was 84.

He was born January 12, 1932 in Wyandotte, OK to David and Ruby (White) Charloe. He was a lifetime area resident. He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1951 and then he attended N.E.O. A.&M. College in Miami where he played football. Dave served in the United States Airforce during Korea.

He worked for B.F. Goodrich in Miami for 26 years and then served for 24 years as secretary of the Ottawa County Election Board. He was a member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Miami, Miami Lodge No. 140 A.F.&A.M., Tulsa Scottish Rite Consistory, Akdar Shrine Temple , Grand Lake Shrine Club, Miami Elks Lodge No. 1320, American Legion Post 147 and the V.F.W.

Dave was preceded in death by his wife Rena Lee Charloe on February 25, 2004, his parents, his brother, Robert "Charles" White and his sister, Anita Charloe Brown.

He married Toby Brown Dupuy on November 27, 2010. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include 2 sons, James Mitchell Charloe and wife Vikki of Oklahoma City, OK and Sammy Davis Charloe and wife Gina of Claremore, OK, 4 grandchildren, Ryan Kelley and husband Kit and Brandon Charloe of Claremore, OK, Kevin Charloe and wife Melissa of Lakewood, CO and Darby Charloe of Oklahoma City, OK, 4 great-grandchildren, Emma, Addyson and Kiryn Kelley and Allie Charloe and his half brother, Charles Diebold.

Services will be Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Miami with Rev. Mary Koppel officiating. Inurnment will be in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at All Saints’. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Thomas Family Center in Miami.
