Died, on his farm near Crow's Mill, at 2 o'clock in the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1898, Henry Leaderbrand, aged 76 years. He was born in Germany, but has been a resident of this state since 1851.
He was married twice, the first time being on shipboard as he came to this country.
He was the father of nineteen children. Mrs. Peter Rodems and Mrs. Gus Miller, of this city, are daughters of the deceased. J. W. Phillips and George Leaderbrand, of New City; Albert Leaderbrand, of Rochester; Joseph Leaderbrand, of near Crow's Mill, and Peter Leaderbrand, of Kansas City, are all sons, and Mrs. Maria Ring, of Kansas, is a daughter of the deceased.
The funeral will take place from the Baptist church near Crow's Mill today. The remains will be interred in the Stout cemetery.
