Son of Lash and Alice Eads Pendleton
Brother of Creed Hilyard Pendleton Sr. findagrave #38378599
Enoch served in the Union Army as a wagoneer. Later he was a business partner of Tulsa Pioneer, Chauncey Owen (findagrave #5664570). Enoch died in 1880 due to a farming accident on Chauncey Owen's ranch. Chauncey, a white man, had married and later divorced an Indian woman, Jane Wolf. So he was able to have a large ranch in Indian Territory. A few years after Enoch died Chauncey married Enoch's widow, Martha (findagrave #5664572). Chauncey later gave away Martha's Indian land to the City of Tulsa with the stipulation that it be named Owen Park.
