His parents were William Roland Aulgur (1895-1986) & Mary Elizabeth Clark Aulgur (1899-?). He first married Dixie Fern Brumble Aulgur on Dec. 28, 1943 in Liberty, Pettis, Missouri. They had 5 children before they divorced. He then married a Dora Lenore Begrin in 1957. They divorced in 1969.
