PLANO FOR MRS. ALBERT ADAMS
Service Held Monday Morning; Died
at the Age of 77 Years
Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Adams, age 77, long time resident of Plano, who passed away at her home here Saturday morning at 10:30 after a short illness, having suffered a paralytic stroke Tuesday morning, were held today (Monday) at 11 o'clock a.m. at the Methodist church at Plano with Rev. George Swan, Sr., officiating. Music furnished by Jenifer Green, Gail Sherrard, Roy Neel and Glen Bailey, who sang "Does Jesus Care," "All is Well With My Soul," and "Good Night and Good Morning," with Mrs. Glen Bailey at the piano.
Pallbearers were John Adams, Mahon Jones, Arthur Bristow, Lester Wahl, Cecil Holmes and Arthur Adams. Ray and Ruth Swanson were the funeral directors. Burial was in the Jones cemetery.
Mrs. Adams' children, with the husband, were all at her bedside during her last illness, and are as follows: Mrs. Clara Jones of Plano; Mrs. Mary Nichelson, of Chicago; Homer Adams, of Burlington, Iowa; Edd Adams of Centerville. A granddaugther, Miss Ruth Adams, who is a registered nurse at Des Moines, came and administered to her grandmother the very best of care.
Relatives who came from a distance to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Will Nickelson of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wahl of Knoxville, Mahon Jones of Chicago, Ruth Adams of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Adams of Marshalltown, Chas. Mosley of Maxwell, Carl Mosley, wife and sister, Hallie Mosley from Chariton, Mae Carlson from Corydon, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Adams and Elvin Adams of Numa, and Edna Sundeen from Centerville.
All Plano extends sympathy to the Adams family.
Daughter of Edward Mosbey and Nancy Elizabeth Davis. She was the mother of nine children total (3 deceased by 1900), including: Flora and Eddy
