EUREKA, Nev - Funeral services were held Tuesday for Fenton A. Fulkerson, Eureka county commissioner, who died at his home in Beowawe, Friday. Interment was in Beowawe cemetery.
Mr. Fulkerson was born in Boone county, Iowa, in 1857, but had resided in Nevada 58 years. On August 18, 1884, he married Josephine Geboe at Oswego, Kan. In the early days he rode the range and for 25 years was foreman for the Dunphy estate and other large ranches in this state. He was elected county commissioner in 1919, serving in the office since.
He was a charter memeber of the Odd Fellows lodge of Carlin and had been presented with a veteran jewel for his long service. He also was a member of the Elko encampment. He is survived by his widow, three sisters and two brothers.
