ELZA BARGER
Elza J. Barger, 65, former Lucas County resident, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 1960 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, following a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of World War I.
He had lived in Des Moines since 1930, and was employed at the Ford Implement Co. for 18 years. He retired two years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel, two daughters, Evelyn Fye of Upper Darby, Pa., and Joanne Hill of Des Moines, two sons, Earl of El Centro, Calif., and William of Philadelphia, Pa.
He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. William Holliday of Chariton, two brothers, Abraham of Seattle, Wash., and Azel of Portland, Ore., and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Beardsley Funeral Home. The Rev. James Adams will officiate and interment will be at the Coal Glen cemetery.
