Paul L. Amick, 96, of Saxton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law in Clearfield. Born on March 25, 1915 at Saxton, son of William Ross and Lillian E. (Thompson) Amick. He was the last of his generation. On Feburary 24, 1938, he was united in marriage to Edna Baughman in the Stonerstown Church of the Brethren, Saxton. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2003. He was preceded in death by two sons: Paul Rodney, 1981 and Ross Stanley, 2007 and two sisters: Lois Bryant Diles and Elizabeth (Betty) Urmson Petrosky. Paul retired March 31, 1978, ending 34 years of service with Penelec in Saxton, Shilocta and Homer City, where he was a control room operator.
