Barbara Elaine Irvine was born in Jamaica, March 30, 1936 to the late Guy and Ruby Aarons. She was the second oldest of six children. After spending her childhood and early adulthood in Kingston, Jamaica, she married the love of her life Keith C. Irvine and moved to the island of St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands in 1962.
Barbara moved to Atlanta in 1994. In spite of the physical limitations, she remained steadfast in her faith and trust in the Lord. She always maintained her sense of humor, style and grace living her life with dignity. She was a devoted mother, phenomenal sister, loving aunt and trusted friend.
Barbara is survived by her children, Suzanne, Karl and Audrey; brothers and sisters, Ian, Winston, Judith, Carol and Lorna; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many treasured friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2007, 2 PM, Cathedral of the Divine Holy Spirit, 4650 Flat Shoals Pkwy., Decatur. Instate 1 PM. Senior Pastor D. E. Paulk.
