Funeral services for Marguerite Adams, 92, Graford, were officiated with the pastor of the Fellowship of Christian Believers Church in Graford, Rev. Ben Lisby.
She and L. Z. Adams were married October 20, 1928, in Archer City. He died November 14, 1982.
She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. She had been a resident of Archer and Young Counties, and lived in Graford since 1989.
She was preceded in death by two sons: L. Z. Jr., in 1873, and Dewey, in 1984, plus a daughter, June Duncan, in 1992.
Survivors include eight grandchildren: Jeannie Nickerson of Era, Darla Johnson and Ann Simpson, both of Wichita Falls, Kay Carlyle of Graford, Sue Billue of Benbrook, Jon Mark Duncan of Ft. Worth, Kim Mercer of Bridgeport, and Mack Adams of Elbert; 10 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
